Automatic Opening Systems for Commercial Gates
How Do Our Commercial Gate Automation Systems Work?
To turn a manual gate into an automatic gate, an electric 'operator' is attached. This is a motorised or pneumatic device that allows buttons, remote controls, key cards or vehicle detectors to activate movement of the gate.
Safety devices control the operation of the system at all times. Any vehicles or pedestrians detected within the movement area of a gate will signal the operator mechanism to stop and re-open/close the gate.
What if My Business Suffers a Loss of Power?
In the event of a power failure, a gate can simply be unlocked with a set of keys provided, then manually operated to allow access or to secure your commercial premises.
Our 24V systems also offer a battery back-up, allowing gates to continue operation uninterrupted during a power failure. For full peace of mind in areas which are difficult or expensive to get power to, Solar Powered Gate Openers are a great option.
You can find brief descriptions and pictures of some of the most popular equipment we install below. Alternatively, or view the PDF brochures for the relevant gate operators.

Swing Gate Operators

FROG
Underground Gate Operator
As its name implies, this superb and much-copied gate mechanism is designed to operate in damp, below-ground conditions.
It is the most popular machine with the discerning customer, who not only wants a long lasting reliable gate opener, but also doesn’t want to see any type of armature attached to the inside of the gates.

FROG-X
Underground Gate Operator
FROG-X Irreversible 24 V brushless below-ground operator with native encoder, Adaptive Speed & Torque Technology, motion management, obstacle detection and adjustable closing leaf stop for swing gates with leaves up to 4m and 400kg weight.

AXO
External Operator
The motor in the Axo system has die-cast aluminium bearing semi-shells for silent running. Axo is equipped with adjustable mechanical stops to offer gate run presets.
The innovative 230V technology gives efficient and simple control of slow gate movements. Also available in a 24V version with a simplified 3 wire connection system.
Sliding Gate Operators
If you have limited space at the entrance to your business premises, an electric sliding gate is the ideal solution, taking up very little room.
The gate moves horizontally on a geared runner, travelling parallel to an adjacent wall and maximising usable space for parking and manoeuvring within and around your commercial property.
With high levels of efficiency and safety provided by the control boards, the ARES ULTRA BT A sliding gate operators are popular with many of our clients.
Many models are also offered in 24V versions, to be used for intense workloads and solar systems.
Solar Gate Automation Systems
We are pleased to be one of the first UK companies to offer reliable solar powered gate automation systems.
These are ideal for business locations where a mains supply is not available, allowing security to be fitted to even the most remote locations.
Each gate is rated to operate on the shortest day of the year. This takes into account the latitude of the site, the number of operations per day and the access control accessories required for the gate.
These systems are suitable for gates or barriers opening up to 500 times per day. Systems with heavier use can combine solar and wind power to harness multiple forms of green energy. With our systems, we protect and secure ANY business.
